CT Rapper Killed In Springfield Police-Involved Shooting Was 'Gentle Giant' Tributes are pouring in for a 48-year-old Connecticut father and rapper who was killed in a police-involved shooting in Western Massachusetts this past weekend.  A Hartford, CT native, William Tisdol went to Enfield High School and studied at Lincoln Tech, according to his Facebook profile. He also worked at Driveline Retail Merchandising as a merchandiser.  However, Tisdol seemed to promote his music career over everything else. Man Killed In Police-Involved Shooting Near MGM Springfield: Authorities Authorities are investigating after a 48-year-old man was killed in a police-involved shooting in Springfield this week. Police responded to reports of a possibly armed man acting aggressive to others at the MGM Casino around 2 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, Hampden District Attorney Anthony Gulluni reports. Upon arrival, officers tried to find the man as he left the casino and headed towards Main and Union streets. As police chased after him, shots were fired and the man was struck, Gulluni said. He was taken to Baystate Medical Center where he later died. His name has yet to be released.&nbs…

ID Released For Fatal Shooting Victim In Massachusetts The victim of a fatal shooting in Western Massachusetts has been identified. Hampden County resident Kelvin Cruz-Lopez, age 23, of Chicopee, was killed around 10:30 p.m., Monday, Jan. 3 during a shooting on East Street, said the Hampden County District Attorney's Office. According to police, Cruz-Lopez was found when Chicopee responded to a reported car crash. As officers arrived they located Cruz-Lopez who was suffering from a gunshot wound. Body Found In River ID'd As Missing UMass Student, DA Says A body found in the Connecticut River has been identified as a college student who was reported missing last year. The body of Wasique Hasan, age 21, of Easthampton, Massachusetts, was discovered in Hampshire County Friday, May 21, by a boater in Hadley, said the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office. No foul play is suspected. Hasan, who attended the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, had been reported missing by his family on Wednesday, Dec. 30, and his name was then entered into the National Crime Information Center as a missing person. Police Investigating After Man's Body Found In River In Massachusetts Police launched an investigation after a man’s body was found by a boater in the Connecticut River in Western Mass. The discovery in Hampshire County happened around 6 p.m., Friday, May 21, in the river in Northampton, said Laurie Loisel, director of Communications for the Northwestern District Attorney's Office.
