Search Continues For Armed, Dangerous Man Accused Of Stabbing His Ex In Adams
Local and state police are continuing their search for a man accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend in Western Massachusetts this week. Jeffrey Cote, of Savoy in the Berkshires, is wanted in connection with the stabbing that happened on early Wednesday morning, June 7, Massachusetts State Police report. Employee Accused Of Intentionally Setting Fire At Lanesborough Restaurant
An employee of a Western Massachusetts restaurant is accused of intentionally setting the building on fire over the weekend. Authorities in Berkshire County received a report of a fire at Olde Forge Restaurant, located at 125 North Main St. in Lanesborough, at about 10 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 28, according to the Lanesborough Police Department. An hours-long standoff between a crossbow-wielding man who barricaded himself inside his Western Massachusetts home and state police led to the arrest of a suspect without any reported injuries. School Superintendent In Western Mass Abruptly Resigns
A popular school superintendent in Western Massachusetts will be unexpectedly leaving his position at the end of the academic year as he pursues other opportunities in education.
