Vernon Restaurant To Close After 26 Years As Owner Focuses On Family After serving customers for more than two decades, a Connecticut restaurant will soon close its doors. Pancho Loco, located in the Tolland County town of Vernon, will close on Friday, Feb. 24, the owner announced on Friday, Jan. 20. Historic Greenport Theater Listed For Sale At $5.5M A historic Long Island movie theater is being offered for sale at $5.5 million. The Greenport Theater, which was built in 1939, was listed by John Catrambone at Dering Harbor Real Estate LLC. The theater, located at 211 Front St. in Greenport, was designed by architect John Eberson. It features 632 seats and has been used for live concerts and cultural events in addition to many classic films. "The Greenport has just undergone an interior refresh after being closed as a result of COVID, and is fully ready for film exhibition and other events," the listing reads.

Vehicle Crashes Into Salvation Army Building In East Northport Officers responded after a vehicle crashed into a Salvation Army building on Long Island. Vehicle Crashes Into Pole In Centereach Officers responded to a single-vehicle crash that happened on Long Island in the early morning hours. A vehicle crashed into a pole in Centereach on Holbrook Road at about 2 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 19, the Suffolk County Police Department reported. Authorities did not have information about whether anyone was injured in the crash but said there were no serious injuries reported. Trio Apprehended In String Of Dunkin' Burglaries In Suffolk County An investigation into a string of burglaries of Dunkin' locations on Long Island led to charges for three people. Two people broke into Dunkin', located at 1105 Horseblock Road in Farmingville, at about 3:40 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 20, the Suffolk County Police Department reported. Man Who Used Fake Identities In Suffolk County As Part Of $1M Fraud Scheme Sentenced, DA Says A 46-year-old man was sentenced for his role in a $1 million nationwide fraud scheme after he admitted to using fake identities to obtain loans on Long Island. Adam Arena was sentenced to four to 12 years in prison, Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond Tierney announced on Friday, Jan. 20. The DA's Office said Arena is currently serving a federal prison sentence in connection to the scheme and other unrelated crimes. ID Released For Brentwood Man Who Died After SUV Plunged Into Water In Bay Shore The identity has been released of a man who died after the SUV he was driving plunged into the water on Long Island. Albert Williams, age 76, of Brentwood, was pronounced dead at the hospital after driving a 2020 Jaguar SUV into the water at Bay Shore Marina on Thursday, Jan. 19, the Suffolk County Police Department.
