Richard Swiater, of Great Barrington, won the seven-figure payday playing "$4,000,000 Monopoly Doubler” $10 scratch-off ticket.

Swiater chose to take the lump sum payment of $650,000 (before taxes) rather than the annuity.

He bought the ticket at Silk’s Variety store at 107 Main St. in Sheffield. The store will get a $10,000 bonus for the sale.
