Massachusetts University Student Killed, 27 Injured In Shuttle Bus Crash One student from Brandeis University is dead and dozens more are injured following a shuttle bus crash in Waltham over the weekend, authorities said. The bus was carrying 30 students when it crashed into a tree on South Street in Waltham around 10:32 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19, the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office reports.  The bus was performing a routine route from the Boston and Cambridge area, with one of the stops being a hockey game at Northeastern University, the office continued.  One student, identified as 25-year-old undergraduate Vanessa Mark, was pronounced dead. ID Released For Tour Bus Driver In NY Thruway Crash Hospitalizing 57 The identity has been released of the driver of a tour bus headed from the Hudson Valley that crashed on the New York Thruway about 25 miles west of Syracuse, sending 57 people to the hospital. The crash happened Saturday afternoon, Aug. 14 on westbound I-90 near Exit 40 (Weedsport) in Cayuga County when it exited the roadway for an unknown reason and rolled over onto the grassy shoulder, according to New York State Police.
