Teen Shot After Jumping Into Stranger's Car At Springfield Gas Station: Cops A 16-year-old boy suffered serious injuries after someone shot him when he got into their car at a gas station over the weekend, authorities said.  Officers received a Shotspotter alert around 6:45 p.m. for Citgo in the 0-100 block of Locust Street on Sunday, Nov. 5, Springfield police said.  Investigators said the shooting happened when the boy got into the driver's seat of someone's car. Two Fatally Shot In Home Invasion In Region ID'd As Teenage Boys Two teenage boys were shot and killed by a Connecticut homeowner during an alleged home invasion. The incident took place in East Hartford shortly after midnight on Thursday, June 16. East Hartford police responded to the area of 87 Graham Road on reports of shots fired, said Deputy Chief Joshua Litwin. Upon arrival, they were met by the resident who directed officers to two people inside his residence injured by gunfire, Litwin said.
