Teen Shot After Jumping Into Stranger's Car At Springfield Gas Station: Cops A 16-year-old boy suffered serious injuries after someone shot him when he got into their car at a gas station over the weekend, authorities said.  Officers received a Shotspotter alert around 6:45 p.m. for Citgo in the 0-100 block of Locust Street on Sunday, Nov. 5, Springfield police said.  Investigators said the shooting happened when the boy got into the driver's seat of someone's car. The incident took place in East Hartford shortly after midnight on Thursday, June 16. East Hartford police responded to the area of 87 Graham Road on reports of shots fired, said Deputy Chief Joshua Litwin. Upon arrival, they were met by the resident who directed officers to two people inside his residence injured by gunfire, Litwin said. Teen Nabbed For Making Charges On Credit Card Stolen In Region A 16-year-old boy was arrested and accused of using a woman's stolen credit cards in Connecticut.  Troopers responded to a Litchfield County home in New Hartford on Sunday, Oct. 24, and a woman told police that she had been notified by her bank of potential fraudulent activity on her account, and discovered her purse had been stolen from her vehicle, according to Connecticut State Police.  The woman found that the charges were being made using her stolen credit cards at businesses in the area.
