Candlelight Memorial Set For Mom Of 2 Killed On Christmas Day In Lawrence A 21-year-old mother of two who was killed in Lawrence on Christmas Day will be remembered in a candlelight vigil on Thursday, Jan. 4. Diomaris Mejia was found dead at her Lawrence apartment on Salem Street after family members asked officers to perform a welfare check around 7:45 a.m. on Dec. 26. The candlelight vigil to honor her will be held at 5 p.m. at 243 Salem St. in Lawrence.
