Emaciated Chihuahua Brought To Malden Police, ARL Getting Life-Saving Help A two-pound, emaciated and ill Chihuahua is getting some long-awaited care after they abandoned near the Malden Police Department last week.   Bailey was found huddling in some bushes along the East Coast Greenway bike trail in the area of Deli and Branch Streets on Monday, July 25, the Animal Rescue League (ARL) said. A Good Samaritan scooped up the one-year-old puppy in a blanket and brought him to the police station.   Bailey was later treated at an animal hospital in Charlestown then transferred to the ARL's Boston center.
