Police responded to a report of an attack inside a home at 22 Doane Road just after 9 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 12, Medford Police report. A caller told police that one of the residents was just attacked by another resident and the assault moved to the outside of the home.  Investigators learned that Jace Cherchi allegedly pulled one woman into the front yard, pushed her to the ground and stabbed her multiple times. Marvin De La Cruz, age 23, attacked and strangled the woman, who is two months pregnant, while she was sleeping in her bedroom in Dorchester on Saturday, June 25, the office reports.
