A 30-year-old Hampshire County man has admitted to causing the 2023 rollover crash that killed his longtime partner and mother of his daughter, authorities announced on Monday, April 22. Cory Menard, of Granby, pleaded guilty to vehicle homicide while operating negligently and under the influence of alcohol; and reckless assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, the Northwestern District Attorney said. The elder sister of former President Donald J. Trump has died while in hospice care in New York, a source with direct knowledge told Daily Voice early Monday morning, Nov. 13. Maryanne Trump Barry, a Queens native and retired federal judge, died over the weekend from cancer while in hospice care in New York City, the source said. She was 86. Firefighters from several departments helped contain an 11-acre brush fire that occurred in Hampshire County Tuesday, the Massachusetts Department of Fire Services said in a release. Woman Charged With Possession Of Heroin, Cocaine In Massachusetts
A woman is facing criminal charges following an alleged drug bust in Western Massachusetts. In Hampshire County, Lori Larzazs-Supczak was stopped by Ware Police at around 4:30 p.m. Monday, June 6, while driving on Webb Court. During the stop, officers discovered that she had an active warrant, police said. A search of the car turned up heroin and cocaine, according to police. Larzazs-Supczak was arrested on multiple charges, including possessing to distribute a Class A substance. The average price for gas in Massachusetts reached $5 per gallon for the first time ever on Tuesday, June 7, according to AAA.
