A 25-year-old Lawrence man who admitted to shooting three men and killing one struck a plea deal on Wednesday, May 31, and will spend up to 26 years in prison, authorities said.

A judge sentenced a 32-year-old Springfield woman to more than seven years in jail after she pleaded guilty to taking part in a drug smuggling ring that moved crack, heroin, and cocaine from Massachusetts into Vermont, authorities said.
