Chelmsford Police Officer Dies 2 Weeks After Cancer Diagnosis An active-duty Chelmsford police officer who "put others before himself" died suddenly after a short but "courageous" battle with cancer.  Timothy Bourke, a lifelong resident of Chelmsford and police officer since 1993, died on Sunday, May 7, according to the Chelmsford Police Department.  Bourke was diagnosed with cancer only two weeks before his death.  "We will miss his laughter, smile, and willingness to put others before himself always," said the announcement made by the Chelmsford Police Department. Police Officer, 2 Others Hospitalized After 3-Car Boston Crash: Police A police officer was among three people injured in a late-night car crash in a Boston neighborhood, officials say. The vehicles collided at approximately 11:20 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5 near Park Street and Dorchester Street in Dorchester, according to the Boston Police Department.  All three of the drivers of the involved vehicles suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to the hospital.None of the vehicles had passengers on board.  The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

Hannah Rocklein, age 26, called police saying she was lost around 9:45 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3, Tewksbury Police Chief Ryan Columbus reports. Boston Man Wanted For Assaulting Officer Caught Attacking Man With Shoe A Mattapan man, wanted for assaulting a police officer, was arrested after he attacked another man at an MBTA station with his own shoe, authorities said.  Police responded to a report of an assault at Back Bay Station around 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 26, Transit Police said. Upon arrival, a 58-year-old male victim told officers that another man, later identified as Oscar Lye, punched him in the face without being provoked.  As the victim fell back, Lye apparently grabbed one of the man's shoes and started hitting him with it. The victim suffered minor injuries as a result,…
