North Shore Icon Karen Raffa Left Her 'Mark On Every Life' She Touched Karen Raffa was all about family. The Beverly resident was considered a true "connector" who went out of her way to make every member of her family – immediate or extended – feel special. "Some souls leave a mark on every life they touch. Karen was one of those souls," her obituary reads.
