Lexington Teen Gets Big Break On 'American Idol,' But Not The One She Wanted A 16-year-old singer from Lexington, Massachusetts, made a smashing debut on "American Idol" on Sunday, Feb. 25, but for a talent outside of singing.  Shriya Jha appeared on the episode with several other Hollywood hopefuls, but her audition was much more violent than other previous tryouts. Steve Carell Goes On Shopping Spree At Newton Mall Fans of "The Office" in Newton got a rare treat over the weekend when Steve Carell, Dunder Mifflin's lovable yet cringe-inducing manager Michael Scott, went on a shopping spree at a mall in the city.  The "40-Year-Old Virgin" and "Big Short" star was spotted shopping alone at The Shops at Chestnut Hill on Sunday afternoon, Sept. 25.
