Drunk Driver Charged With Hitting 2 Houses In Hopkinton A drunk driver is facing multiple charges after police say he hit two homes with his van in Hopkinton, leaving one uninhabitable, police said. Stephen Murphy, 52, of Hopkinton, hit two homes with his van at 75 and 77 Grove St. before driving away from the area shortly before 3 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 4. Officers stopped the car driven by Murphy and arrested him shortly after, police said. First responders arrived at the two homes to find one of them with significant damage to a load-bearing wall.
