Cambridge Man Wins $4 Million, Plans To Buy A House In Maine

A man selected a lottery ticket because he liked its attractive green hue, and was rewarded for his good taste with quite a lot of green.

Paul Nugent won $4 million in the “100X The Money” instant ticket game on Monday, Feb. 27 according to the Massachusetts State Lottery.

åNugent chose to receive his prize as a one-time cash payout of $2,600,000 before taxes. He plans on using his windfall to buy a house in Maine.

The winning ticket was purchased at Luigi’s Variety located at 520 Cambridge Street in Cambridge. The store will get a $40,000 bonus for its part in the big win.
