Western Mass Plane Crash Victims ID'd; Student Pilot, Flight Instructor Among Dead Investigators have identified the three people killed in a Sunday, Jan. 14, plane crash in Franklin County as a student pilot, his instructor, and the owner of a flight school.  They are:  William Hampton, age 68, of Indian Orchard Chad Davidson, age 29, of Woodstock, Connecticut Fredrika Ballard, age 53, of Southwick Ballard owned Fly Lugu Flight School and Hampton was an instructor.
