Monday, April 11 was a lucky night for 16 lottery players who all won $100,000 in a Keno game drawing, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery.  The following day, 11 of the winners picked up their checks. Troopers responded to the two-vehicle crash on the eastbound side of the Massachusetts Turnpike in the Worcester County town of Charlton at about 9:10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 5, Massachusetts State Police reported. New List Of High-Risk Massachusetts Towns Out Now The people of Worcester are at high-risk of catching COVID-19, according to new information from the state. On Wednesday, Sept. 16, Massachusetts released an updated COVID-19 map showing where the “hot-spots” or areas with high infection rates are located. Worcester has made the state's “red” list, so named for the state’s color-coded risk assessment. Red is reserved for the communities with the highest risk of COVID-19 infection.
