The crash happened in South Windsor on westbound I-291 near the Exit 4 on-ramp at about 11:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 14, Connecticut State Police said. Jose Cotto, of Windsor Locks, was riding a 2017 Harley-Davidson XL 1200 Forty-Eight when, for unknown reasons, he lost control of the motorcycle and it tipped over, causing Cotto to be separated from the motorcycle, police said.
