Springfield Murder-Suicide: Girlfriend Of Shooter Busted On Gun Charges Tied To Shooting The 32-year-old girlfriend of a Springfield man who killed a woman and her 10-year-old granddaughter faces nine charges after police say the gun he used in the Aug. 14 murder-suicide belonged to her.  Monica Sanchez, of Springfield, the girlfriend of Victor Nieves, was charged with eight counts of improper storage of a firearm and a single charge of possession of a high-capacity feeding device, the Hampden County District Attorney's Office. Man With Trove Of Hazardous Chemicals Pleads Not Guilty To Firearms Charges In South Hadley: DA Authorities found a stockpile of hazardous and potentially dangerous chemicals at a man's apartment in South Hadley. Though, that's not what landed him in hot water with the police. Officials said they found an unsecured handgun and an illegal magazine inside his home as well.  Paul C.
