Update: Dog, 2 People Die In Early Morning Springfield Fire, Officials Say Two older adults and a dog were killed in an early morning fire in Western Massachusetts this week, fire officials said.  Springfield Fire responded to the fire at 126 East Street in Springfield around 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 30, the Department of Fire Services (DFS) reports.
