GoFundMe Identifies 16-Year-Old Ayer Girl Killed In Leominster Crash A GoFundMe has revealed the identity of a 16-year-old girl from Ayer who died in a single-car crash last week. Krystal Mello was the sole victim of the crash that happened on Route 190 north in Leominster around 7:10 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6, as previously reported by Daily Voice. Initial investigation suggests that the driver of a 2001 Ford Mustang lost control as it moved from the right lane to the left to pass other vehicles.  The car then went off the highway, down an embankment and crashed into the wood line on the right side of the road, Massachusetts State Police said.
