Police in Hampden County are asking the public to help them identify a man they say attacked a 74-year-old man and tried to rob him earlier this week.  The alleged attack happened around 8:30 a.m. Sunday, June 11, at 40 Springfield St. in Agawam, police said. Authorities did not say if the elderly man was injured in the incident.  Police released surveillance video of the suspect hoping someone would recognize him and contact authorities.  Detectives ask anyone who knows the man to contact them at 413-786-1717.

Hit-Run Crash Under Investigation In Chicopee One person was injured during a hit-and-run crash in Western Massachusetts. The incident took place around 3:30 p.m., Tuesday,  Feb. 1, on Exchange Street in Chicopee, according to 22 News. The news channel reported a vehicle hit a parked car and then left the area. Police told the news channel the vehicle, with the driver and passenger inside, were caught a short distance away. One of the suspects was taken to the hospital with injuries but the injuries are said to be minor. The crash is under investigation.
