The Drew University biology department chair from Madison was one of 105 past winners called up to play against each other. Barker's prior episodes aired in July 2022. On Buzzer Beater Question Sports commentator Katie Nolan took Wednesday night's episode of "Celebrity Jeopardy!" down to the wire when she tied with "Law & Order: SVU" alum Christopher Meloni and had to finish the game with a rare tiebreaker question.  Nolan, a former ESPN broadcaster and podcaster who now hosts "Friday Night Baseball Apple TV+, is a Framingham native. The 34-year-old Massachusetts native, originally from Worcester and now living in Los Angeles, will return to the iconic quiz show, appearing on a “Champions Wild Card Tournament” episode airing Thursday, Oct. 5. “It happened again. I’m back on Jeopardy! Babyyyyy!!!” Sargent said on Facebook. Legend Returns To Show For 'Masters' Tourney Matt Amodio, one of the greatest "Jeopardy!" champions ever, will return to the show on Monday, May 8, to face down some of the gameshow's other legends as part of the "Jeopardy! Masters" tournament.  Amodio, a postdoctoral researcher in Cambridge, won 38 games and more than $1.5 million in cash during his run on "Jeopardy!" in 2021.  The "Master's Tournament" will pit six of the show's most prolific winners against one another for a $250,000 purse. Wheaton College Graduate To Compete On Jeopardy! A woman who works at Mystic Seaport and attended a college in Massachusetts will soon compete in an upcoming episode of Jeopardy! Katie Palumbo, a graduate of Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts who now works as the seaport's membership specialist, will appear on America's favorite quiz show in an episode airing on Monday, Jan. 16 on ABC, according to officials from the show.  The episode will air at 7 p.m.  In its 39th season, the show is now hosted by both Ken Jennings and Mayim Bialik.  The episode with Palumbo will be hosted by Jennings.
