Resort Worker Killed By Snowmobile In Berkshires, Officials Say The Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit is investigating an apparent accidental death at a Western Massachusetts resort.  According to Andrew McKeever, of the Berkshires District Attorney's Office, detectives responded to the Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort in Hancock on Tuesday, Jan. 4, following a snow groomer and a snowmobile collision. Kimberlee Francoeur, 30, of Lanesborough, died after the snow groomer operator backed into the snowmobile she was operating, McKeever said. Western Mass Man Accused Of Raping Two Minors A Western Massachusetts man has been arrested for allegedly raping two minor girls in the region. Berkshire County resident Lucius Copeland, age 20, of Pittsfield, was arrested on Tuesday, Dec. 28, by the Berkshire County Law Enforcement Task Force. Man Dies After Kayak Overturns In Western Mass A Western Mass man died after his kayak overturned in an area pond. John Reynolds, age 58, of the Town of Richmond in Berkshire County, died Thursday, Dec. 9 at Berkshire Medical Center after his kayak overturned in Richmond Pond. Around 7 a.m. Berkshire County Dispatch received a 911 call reporting an individual in Richmond Pond calling for assistance, said Berkshire District Attorney’s Office spokesperson Andrew McKeever. Former Olympian Arraigned On Charges Of Molesting Boys In The Berkshires A former Olympian in track and field has been indicted on 12 counts of indecent assault and battery in connection with complaints that the abuse took place at a camp for boys in Western Massachusetts. Berkshire County District Attorney Andrea Harrington announced on Tuesday, March 16, that 69-year-old Conrad Mainwaring, who was residing in Los Angeles, was arrested as he left a California courthouse on a fugitive from justice warrant.
