Skeletal Remains Found In Saugus Woods Police are investigating after human remains were found by someone walking their dog in Saugus Sunday morning, Feb. 18.  The discovery happened in the woods off David Drive just before 10 a.m. The skeletal remains were taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine how they died and to identify them.  Police say they do not believe there is any risk to the public.  The Essex County District Attorney's Office did not release any other information about the discovery.

(Update) Man Killed His Roommate In Saugus: Police A man in Saugus is accused of killing his housemate after police found his body early Friday morning, July 7, authorities said.  George Finley, age 64, is accused of murdering 37-year-old Joshua Thomson in a house their shared at 315 Essex Street in Saugus, the Essex County District Attorney said.  A police spokesperson said they received a call around 6:30 a.m. of an "unattended death," but prosecutors changed that determination to homicide after detectives and medical examiners investigated the scene.  Finley will be arraigned on Monday.
