Boston Woman Drowns Scuba Diving In Rockport A 40-year-old South Boston woman died over the weekend in Rockport while SCUBA diving with her father, authorities said.  Sara Elizabeth Nivens was found late Saturday afternoon, July 22, near the Dry Salvages Rock about two miles northwest of the town, the Essex County District Attorney's Office said. She had been on a two-day trip with her dad diving off a charter boat.  Authorities pulled Nivens' body from the water and took her to Addison Gilbert Hospital and later taken to Lahey Hospital Medical Center in Burlington, where doctors pronounced her dead.  Rockport pol…

Update: Pedestrian, 39, Hit By SUV On Route 1 In Peabody A man was transported to the hospital after being hit by an SUV on Route 1, officials say.  A 39-year-old pedestrian, from Mashpee, received serious injuries when he was hit by a 2021 Toyota Highlander on Route 1 in Peabody around 11:45 a.m. on Thursday, June 1, according to the Massachusetts State Police Department. Chelmsford Motorcyclist Airlifted To Hospital After Memorial Day Weekend Crash A 31-year-old motorcyclist is in critical condition after being involved in a crash in Chelmsford over Memorial Day weekend, according to authorities.  Police responded to the crash near the intersection of Princeton Street and Richardson Road around 10:41 a.m. on Sunday, May 28, Chelmsford Police Chief James M.
