New Update: Medford Residents Evacuate, Roads Close As Police Investigate Bomb Threat An unknown caller reportedly demanded a bag full of cash, threatening to bomb a business if he wishes were not fulfilled, officials say.  The area of 200 Mystic Avenue in Medford was closed the morning of Wednesday, July 5 because of a reported bomb threat, according to the Medford Police Department.  An employee at City Check Cashing, located at 209 Mystic Avenue, called 911 around 8:50 a.m. reporting that the business had just received a threatening call from a man.
