DC Man Apprehended In Connection To Murder Of Toddler: Police A Southwest DC man has been charged in connection with the murder of a toddler, authorities said. Dasean Matthews, 23, was arrested on Thursday, Nov. 3 by members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force on a first-degree murder charge in the death of 2-year-old Mars Jones, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
