One person is dead following a two-vehicle crash and officer-involved shooting in Anne Arundel that may be connected, according to state police. State police investigators say that a pedestrian who was struck and killed by a Porsche in Charles County was under the influence of alcohol. Shortly after 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, troopers from the La Plata Barrack responded to a stretch of Crain Highway near Acton Lane in Waldorf, where there was a report of a pedestrian who had been struck by a passing vehicle.
