Nicholas Fondren Airlifted After Holy Face Church Crash Speed, driver error, and alcohol are all possible factors in a crash that landed a pick-up truck in the side of a church in Maryland, according to the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office. Nicholas Aaron Fondren, 22, of California, had to be airlifted to an area trauma center for emergency treatment of critical injuries after losing control of his F-150 and crashing into Holy Face Church in Great Mills.
