IDs Released For Victims Of Deadly Shooting At Laurel Recording Studio
Police have released the identities of the two victims killed in a shooting that left a third person wounded at a recording studio in Laurel Tuesday morning. Louis B. Rackett, 23, and Quincy P. Green, Jr., 21, both of Washington, DC, were found with gunshot wounds as officers responded to the 600 block of Lafayette Avenue just before 1:35 a.m. on March 12. An attempted murder suspect from Laurel has been charged in connection with shooting an officer while serving an arrest warrant, authorities said. Christopher Simms, 23, shot a Laurel Police officer while police were serving an arrest and search warrant in the 100 block of Bryan Court just after 6 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20, the department said. A missing man from Sliver Spring was found dead more than a week after he was reported missing, authorities said. Osman Hussam Osman, 22, was found dead in Laurel on Monday, March 21, Montgomery County Police said.
