Smells Like Decomposition: Officers Sniff Out PG Grandma's Remains, Mom-Daughter Duo Charged A Maryland woman enlisted her 19-year-old daughter for help hiding her own mother's remains, which were found in the basement of their home weeks after her murder, authorities said. Candace Craig, 44, had help from her 19-year-old daughter Salia Hardy, hiding the remains of her mom, Margaret Craig, who she killed on May 23, police in Prince George's County said. Capitol Heights Man Killed After Crashing Into Parked Vehicles Police have identified the 28-year-old killed in a crash over the weekend in Landover. Prince George's County Police found Capitol Heights resident Jibrell Moore inside a crashed vehicle in the 1000 block of Hill Road around 7 p.m., Sunday, March 19. Investigators say that Moore lost control of the vehicle while driving south on Hill Road and struck a parked car.  The force of the initial impact pushed the parked car into another parked car. Moore was pronounced dead at the scene. The other two vehicles were unoccupied at the time of the collisions.

Cheverly Man Dies Week After Landover Crash A Cheverly man died from injuries sustained in a single-vehicle collision last weekend, authorities say. Pierre Dawkins, 46, lost control and struck a tree off of the 700 block of Hill Road in Landover the morning of Sunday, May 22.
