Elderly Driver Crashes Into La Plata School After Medical Emergency: Firefighters An elderly driver apparently suffering a medical emergency sent their vehicle into a school in La Plata on Tuesday, Feb. 6. The patient was extricated following the crash at Grace Lutheran Church and School, according to photos shared by firefighters. Great job by those on scene of this unfortunate medical emergency. We wish a speedy recovery to the elderly driver of this incident, so thankful school children and staff were inside.
