A Washington D.C. man wanted in connection to a fatal shooting inside of a Hyattsville mall has been taken into custody, authorities announce. Stephon Edward Jones has been charged with the murder of Darrion Herring, 20, after shooting him in the food court of the mall in the 3500 block of East-West Highway on Thursday, Aug. 18, according to Prince George's County police. Local police and the U.S. Marshals Service are working to find and arrest a recent Hyattsville homicide suspect, officials reported. On Aug. 18, Stephon Jones shot and killed the victim during an argument at a shopping mall in the 3500 block of East-West Highway, according to the Prince George's County Police Department. Police have identified a Washington D.C. man as a suspect in connection to a fatal shooting at a mall in Hyattsville, authorities say.
