Police have identified the innocent driver killed by a wrong-way car thief during a police pursuit on I-695 earlier this week. Dimeka Thornton, 37, of Windsor Mill, was operating an Acura TSX when she was struck by a driver in a stolen car in the outer loop, on the ramp to Exit 18 to Liberty Road around 12:15 a.m. Monday, April 8, the Maryland Attorney General's Office said in a release. Charles Hoffman, 35, approached the driver asking for a ride around 3:45 p.m. Sunday June 12 on the 5300 block of Nottingridge Road, Baltimore County police said.
