A Maryland mansion formerly home to a 30-year-old NBA star has sold for about $1 million under asking price. Bradley Beal's home at 8913 Holly Leaf Lane hit the market last fall, after the three-time All-Star was traded from the Wizards to the Phoenix Suns. The 13,482-square-foot Bethesda estate was listed for approximately $10 million but sold for $9.1, Zillow shows. It features nine bathrooms, six bedrooms, a four car garage, as well as two basketball courts for good measure sitting on nearly 14,000 square feet. Former Loyola Basketball Star Jamal Barney Found Dead In Vacant Home
Former Loyola men's basketball star Jamal Barney was found dead inside a vacant home this week in West Baltimore, police confirmed. On Monday afternoon, Oct. 2, officers from the Baltimore Police Department responded to the 500 block of North Payson Street to conduct a welfare check after Barney's family reported that he had been missing for days and may be inside. A former Coppin State basketball star has died after a fatal bicycle collision in Delaware, authorities confirm. Larry Yarbray, 51, a Chester, Pennsylvania native, was killed after being struck by a vehicle in the Camden Wyoming area on Saturday, Sept. 10, according to Delaware State Police. Maryland native and former NBA player, coach and executive Gene Shue has died at the age of 90, the NBA reports. As a player, Shue racked up five consecutive NBA All-Star appearances from 1958 to 1962 and played one season with the Baltimore Bullets before going into coaching.
