Baltimore Firefighter Fighting To Recover After Serious Accident A Baltimore firefighter is recovering after being involved in a serious accident after leaving work, authorities say. On the morning of Friday, Nov. 4, EMT and firefighter Jake Bicking was heading home after his shift when he was involved in a serious accident, announced a Baltimore Firefighters Union spokesperson. "We’re grateful for the firefighters & EMS providers who cared for our brother. We stand by Brother Bicking & his family now & throughout his long road to recovery", the statement continued. No additional details have been released at this time.

The Baltimore Firefighters Union said that the department’s HazMat Team is standing by at the scene of an incident in the 6000 block of Falls Road, where some homes and buildings may be evacuated.
