Largo Man Accused Of Murdering DC Basketball Star During Fight, Shooting Self: Police
A Maryland man has been arrested in connection to the fatal shooting of a 40-year-old man from Washington, DC in Maryland over the weekend, authorities announced.
The Prince George's County Police Department announced on Monday that Largo resident Estep Kyler, Jr., 36, has been arrested in connection to the murder of Andrew Carnell Washington on Saturday, Feb. 10.
According to investigators, shortly after 4 a.m. on Saturday morning, officers from the agency were called to a reported shooting on Iverson Street, where they found Kyler in the 2300 block suffering from a gunshot wound.

A 23-year-old man wanted for murder in Washington, DC has been arrested halfway across the country, the Metropolitan Police Department announced on Tuesday.
Eliexander Lopez-Burgos was taken into custody in Glendale, Colorado on Monday in connection to his role in the murder of Carlos Javier-Blanco Fernandez, 38, last month at an area gas station.
Neither man has a fixed address, according to police.

Police have arrested a suspected shooter more than five months after a 54-year-old woman was found dead in Northeast DC, authorities announced.
Southeast DC resident Bobby Gupton, 25, has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder while armed in connection to the fatal shooting of Tavonayna Glenn, who has no fixed address, in June, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

A fugitive wanted for the attempted murder of his twin sister in Maryland was captured just short of the New York State line in New Jersey following a nearly hour-long pursuit, authorities confirmed on Monday, Dec. 4.
Reese E. Wetzel, 23, of Ellicott City, MD stabbed his sister multiple times during an argument, then stole her car and headed north, police in Edison, NJ, said.

A South Jersey man who graduated from the University of Maryland and went on to work in TV journalism in Pennsylvania and Virginia has been arrested on child pornography charges, authorities announced.
Cleve W. Bryan Jr. was charged Wednesday, Oct. 18 by police in Washington Township, Gloucester County with endangering the welfare of children by possessing child pornography, the department said.
