Carlos Arturo Murillo-Guevara was killed in the 6000 block of Seabrook Road around 8:45 p.m. on Friday, April 15, Prince George's County Police said. A GoFundMe has since been organized to help Carlos' family cover the cost of his funeral.
"Carlos was a wonderful son, brother, and friend," the campaign page reads. "You can always see Carlos checking up on his younger brothers, ensuring they were comfortable and had everything they needed it. In addition, Carlos was a son who cared for and loved his parents greatly."
As of Tuesday, April 19, the GoFundMe raised over $3,800 of its $12,000 goal. You can donate to that fundraiser by clicking here. Tributes to Carlos also poured in on social media.
Police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone with information regarding the case. Those with information are asked to contact police at 301-516-2512.
