What started as a day of celebration ended violently when a brawl broke out during a graduation ceremony in Silver Spring. Several fights were reported outside of John F. Kennedy High School in Silver Spring this week on the steps of Constitution Hall, according to Principal Vickie Adamson, who called the incident "an embarrassment to our community." Maryland State Police continue to investigate a crash that resulted in the death of a dump truck driver and motorcycle enthusiast on I-270 in Montgomery County. With the entire East Coast continuing to adjust to the collapse of the Key Bridge collapse in Maryland, the state's Transportation Authority announced new closures and alternatives for motorists on I-695. MDTA officials issued a warning to drivers Monday morning regarding increased rush hour traffic on several Baltimore highways following last week’s Key Bridge collapse.
