Montgomery County Police Officer Critically Injured By Driver On I-270
A Montgomery County Police officer suffered critical injuries after being struck by a reportedly impaired driver on I-270 early on Wednesday morning. Two people are in custody after an officer was struck at around 4 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18 in the northbound lanes on I-270 between Watkins Mill Road and north of Middlebrook Road in Gaithersburg, according to a Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson.
