Pole-Swinging Man, Angry Woman Assault Anne Arundel County Police Officers Two Anne Arundel County Police Officers are recovering after being assaulted in separate incidents, authorities say. The first assault occurred around 11:40 a.m., Thursday, March 30 in the area of Mountain Road near Jumpers Hole Road while officers were on a routine patrol of the area, according to Anne Arundel County police. The officer was patrolling the area when he noticed a man, identified as Decarlos Briscoe, 33, assaulting another person with a pole in the middle of the road.
