Former US Marine, Police Officer, Sheriff's Sergeant Dies In Maryland A former US Marine and longtime police officer in Maryland died on Thursday, Sept. 1 at the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home, the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office announced. Sgt. George Kramer, who had a lengthy law career in Prince George’s and St. Mary’s counties reportedly passed away peacefully at the Veterans Home, according to Sheriff Tim Cameron. Taylor Connors, a 24-year-old Pleasant View, Utah native, died Tuesday, June 7, with family by his bedside, the US Naval Academy said. “Our Naval Academy community is mourning a tragic loss this week of a life taken far too soon – Midshipman Taylor Connors honorably served his nation as a Marine and as a midshipman,” said Vice Adm.
