Former US Marine, Police Officer, Sheriff's Sergeant Dies In Maryland A former US Marine and longtime police officer in Maryland died on Thursday, Sept. 1 at the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home, the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office announced. Sgt. George Kramer, who had a lengthy law career in Prince George’s and St. Mary’s counties reportedly passed away peacefully at the Veterans Home, according to Sheriff Tim Cameron. Naval Academy ID's Annapolis Midshipman Who Died In Philadelphia Surrounded By Family The Naval Academy has identified the Annapolis midshipman who died while on leave in Philadelphia. Taylor Connors, a 24-year-old Pleasant View, Utah native, died Tuesday, June 7, with family by his bedside, the US Naval Academy said. “Our Naval Academy community is mourning a tragic loss this week of a life taken far too soon – Midshipman Taylor Connors honorably served his nation as a Marine and as a midshipman,” said Vice Adm.
