Two grocery store thieves did not go down quietly after being caught red-handed stealing merchandise and then attacking an officer in Montgomery County, police say. Fernando Calix, 38, and Christian Alexander Gonzalez, 18, have been arrested following an incident that played out in Safeway on Connecticut Avenue in Kensington when they pulled a knife on a security guard attempting to stop them from stealing. Authorities have identified the decomposing body who was found behind a Maryland supermarket in mid-November, the Frederick County Sheriff's Office announced.
