Two Marylands girls who will live the rest of their lives without either of their parents, who died in a double-murder suicide, are being embraced by their community. An impersonator's plan was foiled when he was arrested shortly after a Millersville robbery, authorities say. Stephen Ricardo Bennie, 21, was attempting to impersonate a WiFi inspector when he approached the owners of a home on the 600 block of Caracle Court around 2:30 p.m., Monday, June 13, according to Anne Arundel Police. Heroin, Crack Cocaine Seized In Anne Arundel Traffic Stop: Police
A routine traffic stop in Anne Arundel for an equipment violation revealed large quantities of several illegal drugs, authorities say. Morgan Powell, 26, and Garry Morris, 20, were arrested after the smell of marijuana wafting from the vehicle prompted a search during the stop on Belle Grove Road and 10th Avenue, around 1 a.m., Thursday, June 9, Anne Arundel Police say. Officers discovered 5 grams of suspected heroin, 30 grams of suspected crack cocaine, 2 grams of suspected Oxycodone, and $963 in cash. Both the driver and passenger were charged accordingly.

Maximum Security Jail Worker Had Sexual Relations With Annapolis Inmate: Authorities
A detention center employee has been arrested after accusations of being sexually involved with an inmate in Annapolis, officials say. Joseph Oluwafemi Osiberu, 41, of Upper Marlboro was charged with a fourth-degree sex offense for the incident that occurred at the Jennifer Road Detention Center around 5:30 p.m., Sunday, June 5, according to Anne Arundel Police.
