The months-long investigation into a man in possession of child porn in Northern Maryland led to the arrest of a 21-year-old Sykesville man, the Carroll County Sheriff's Office announced on Wednesday. Aedon Luke Reckner was arrested in the early hours of March 27 following a probe that was launched in December last year by the Carroll County Advocacy and Investigation Unit. Maryland State Police in Pikesville are offering up to $14,000 to anyone with information leading to the identification of a woman wanted for questioning in an infant sex abuse case. A woman captured in video screenshots from 2020 is believed to have “specific knowledge related to the identity of a female infant that was sexually abused,” Maryland State Police said in a release on Tuesday, Feb. 13. A 50-year-old Maryland man has been arrested after authorities said he preyed on a 13-year-old girl — who actually turned out to be an undercover detective — online. Scott Paul Locastro, of West Friendship, initiated conversation with the Frederick County Sheriff's detective through an online app on Jan. 3, the office said. A Maryland man is facing a host of charges after being busted by state police and Homeland Security investigators with child porn on multiple devices in Prince George’s County, authorities announced. Two child pornography suspects were taken into custody following a pair of separate investigations into the distribution and possession of illicit materials, state police announced.
