In Elkton, crews were called to Mallard Court at around 12:45 a.m. on Sunday morning, to battle a blaze that broke out in the back of a property and spread to two neighboring homes. The fire caused an estimated $500,000 in damages, and left 10 people displaced who are being assisted by friends and the American Red Cross. Shortly after 2:30 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 22, police and fire personnel responded to the 400 block of Guilford Avenue for a report of a person on fire, according to Baltimore police.
