One person was killed early on Friday morning when an SUV smashed into a tow truck in a head-on Calvert County crash, according to the sheriff's office. A death investigation has been launched after a Ford Edge collided with a tow truck shortly before 9:45 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 5 on Plum Point Road near Kimberly Lane in Huntingtown. One person was killed and two others were airlifted to area hospitals following a fatal crash in Charles County on Monday morning. Police ID Pedestrian Killed By Driver In Maryland Crash
The pedestrian killed in an Oxon Hill collision has been identified as a Waldorf man, authorities say. Noshua Vann, 38, was struck in the 6100 block of St. Barnabas Road around 9:45 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 20 according to Prince George's County Police. Vann was pronounced dead at the scene and the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene. Detectives believe that Vann was in the roadway at the time of the collision.
