A 20-year-old man who couldn't handle his alcohol and assaulted two women during a domestic disturbance in Frederick is facing a host of charges after being apprehended over the weekend, police say. Officers from the Frederick Police Department were called early on Sunday morning to a residence in the 900 block of West Patrick Street to investigate a reported incident involving Abner Perez-Sandoval, his girlfriend, and a second woman. The man who took police in Maryland on a tricky pursuit before barricading himself inside his vehicle is facing more than a dozen charges after ultimately being apprehended, police say. Police ID Pedestrian In Wheelchair Killed By Garbage Truck Near Maryland Shopping Center
The Frederick Police Department has released new details after a person in a wheelchair was struck and killed by a garbage truck earlier this month. Police say that at approximately 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 12, officers from the department were called to the 1200 block of West Patrick Street, where they found 73-year-old Frederick resident William Arthur Whitted, Jr. in the roadway after being struck by the truck.
